Artfully Meandering: My bead soup!

So sorry for the delay in posting. I am semi-settled in Kansas. I'm finding I like it here! A new adventure, a new state and a beautiful home with a basement (I'm grateful for this feature in Kansas!) set up as my art studio.

So, let me catch up a bit on the Bead Soup Blog Hop. Here is my gorgeous soups of green goodies from my partner Cynthia Abner over at Created Treasures. It turns out we are fellow "lovers of green" and I ended up sending her a green-yellow-earthy mix.

This is a necklace I'm keeping for myself... the beads are so pretty! She sent me a gorgeous glass focal with copper clasp. In the soup, we have jade, crystal, shell, and copper. I have a few versions laid out and just have to hunt down some key ingredients...like bead wire...in my boxes. I just have a few boxes left to unpack (my wonderful mom came and help me unpack most of my boxes!). But, my jewelry stuff is a mess. I can't find my wire cutters right now. But, find it I will!

So, here is some information on the upcoming Bead Soup Blog Hop and the participants. Blog Hop starts next Saturday, March 3. Come back then for the Big Reveal of everyone's soup results... can't wait!
