Hong Kong Chronicles: Mom finally took me for a walk!

Hi!
Mom finally took me for a walk. But, she had to keep stopping to take pictures of me and the flowers. And I had to keep posing. Oh, well. At least I got to get out of the apartment and say, "Wang!" to my new little Chinese doggy buddies.

Wang!
Hong Kong Molly
(Note: actually Molly said, "Wang, wang, wang, wang, wang, wang." She's learned Mandarin and Cantonese much faster than me. I took the liberty of translating for her on this post. ~ Molly's Mom)

  1. Hi Jenn, thanks so much for the lovely blog comment you left me, I so apprieciate the kind words and the time you took to connect. Your dog is so sweet...and a move to Hong Kong from Texas is quite unique and brave, wow. Yep, rabbits fill our house, at the moment we only have 4; Ella-Luna, Roo, Jin and Hazel but we used to have 6 rabbits all at once and a skinny pig named Thodan...I'd like to rescue more someday soon. I am sorry to hear about the passing of your pet, it's very difficult but I hope Molly is keeping your heart smiling and life bright:D It's funny I am not at all allergic to rabbits but very much to cats and dogs. I should go but keep popping into my blog and thanks again so very much. Be Well, Mandy Saile of Bijou's Whimsy.

  2. Thank you in return for your post! I'm excited to be living here in Hong Kong. It's something I've wanted to do since I was a teenager. I'm getting to live my dream! A slightly different version of the original...nevertheless, it's still working well for me.

I think we share a kindred feeling toward fur-people. My sister's family has a rabbit (Mocha) and he is so cute. I used to have four Maltese. I've rescued and placed an additional 3 dogs. When I moved to HK, I thought it was more reasonable to only take two, so I found homes for two others and lost Bijou. So, I'm down to one sweet little malt and she always makes me laugh. She ALMOST listens to me here and she's a joy to have.

Looking forward to more of your blog. :-)
